Christmas with DCWV

Hi guys!

I have something so special to show you ready for the festive season. I managed to get a sneak peek of the DCWV one day special on Hochanda and get to have a play.

DCWV stands for Die Cuts with a View and to me, that means quality. Glittered card, acetate, foiling, you name it! The card stock is a lovely quality and gsm, perfect for your watercolouring or alcohol markers.

I managed to get hold of the colouring pad and the pop up pad. In the colouring pad you get lovely designs to colour and then die cut apertures to put in front. Even though this is a colouring pad you still get beautiful foiling on the sentiments and the apertures. I got so carried away with the colour in cards I didn’t get chance to play with the pop up cards! I will a bit later and edit this blog!

I used a mixture of the graph master pens and my colourista on these cards.

I also used my inks and blender tools to blend through the apertures and make the card blanks match my colouring.

On this one I decided to extend the branch design with a foliage stamp from John Lockwood’s Christmas Rose stamps.

And finally the apertures left me with some diecut blanks so I decided to use these in a stepper card but stamping some elements from the Christmas Rose set again. The DCWV packs say you can make a certain amount of cards on the front but there’s always something to make out of the waste!

I hope you love the kits as much as I enjoyed playing with them, & personally I want ALL the kits but it’s not payday yet! If you’d like them check out the One Day Special on Hochanda. John Lockwood from Creative Expressions is demoing the kits live at 9am, 12pm, 4pm and 7pm today but be quick, I’ve heard they might sell out!

Happy crafting!
