Hi it’s Alison here and as it’s getting near to Mother’s Day I thought the new floral release from Loti would make an ideal card for any mother.
Cut a piece of white card to 6.5 inches by 4.5 inches.
Using an acrylic block, that fits onto the card, tap dusty concord distress ink all over it. Place the acrylic block ink side down onto the top third of the piece of card and apply pressure to transfer the ink. Repeat with the other two colours, cracked pistachio and shaded lilac, moving down the card with each new colour. Spray lightly with water and pat dry with kitchen roll. Leave to dry fully.
Rub an anti-static bag over your background piece, then using the Floral Panel, on an acrylic block or in a stamping platform, stamp it with onyx black Versafine ink. Heat emboss the image with WOW! clear embossing powder. Next stamp the First my Mum sentiment from the family sentiment stamp set with Versafine onyx black and heat emboss with clear embossing powder.
Mat the finished panel onto black card leaving a small border, then adhere to a 5 x 7 inch card blank.
