Stampscription Sunday (March 2021)

Our Design Team Member Diane, came up with the idea of how you can use your Easter themed stamps all year round. We love how she’s changed the eggs in the basket into flowers.

You will need:

1: Stamp image onto a piece of scrap paper

2: Carefully cut round image removing bunny ears from headband

3: Onto a folded blank card base, draw round tag shape stencil and cut out.

4: Ink image, then cover ears with a piece of washi tape before stamping onto tag card base.

5: Cover stamped image on the card base with paper cut out the image, then lay tag stencil on top, hold in place with washi tape. Using three colours of ink, blend through the stencil.

6: Remove stencil and paper image.

7: Colour image using same three inks, add black line detail round stencilled edge, then add ribbon bow and flower embellishment.

8: Colour a small piece of card using the three inks, punch out some small flowers. Stamp sentiment, cut out then mount onto coloured card adding black line detail.

9: Add 3d foam tape to back of sentiment and mount onto card front. Glue small punched flowers over eggs in basket, one on hairband and one in hand.

I hope you love this tutorial, if you give it a go we’d love to see it. Come over to the Mama Maker’s Facebook group and be sure to follow Mama Makes on Social Media.
