Hi all, it’s Anne here, I’m new to the Mama Makes design team, I hope you like the card tutorial I have for you this week!
Supplies:
Forever Friendship stamps
Floral Frames stamps
Centura pearl card
Gold embossing powder
Versamark or perfect medium ink
Tonic nuvo drops
5 and 6.5cm circle dies
Spectrum Noir sparkle pen
Step 1;
Fold a 10 x 20cm piece of card to make a 10cm square card base. Cut a window in the front with the 5cm circle die.
Step 2;
Stamp two of the floral wreath in embossing ink, add gold embossing powder and heat to melt. Trim around the inside and outside edge of one piece and cut out the individual flowers on the second wreath. Colour with sparkle pen.
Step 3;
Colour two 9.5cm squares of card with sparkle pen using a large brush, add some water to dilute the colour. Ink around the edges with embossing ink and dip into embossing powder, heat to melt. Cut a window in the centre of one piece with the circle die and add to the card front.
Step 4;
Repeat the embossing of the edges on an 8cm square of card, cut a circle in the centre of this and add to the card front. If the apertures are not exactly central it won’t matter as the wreath will cover it.
Step 5;
Stamp the sentiment onto card with embossing ink, add powder and melt. Cut with the larger circle die and then add embossing power to the edges as before.
Step 6;
Stick the second coloured square to the inside of the card and add the sentiment. Ensure that the words are central in the window when the card is closed before securing. Add some of the flowers.
Step 7;
Put glue around the aperture on the card front and stick on the wreath. Finish with some pearl drops in the centre of the flowers.
Happy crafting everyone!
