Hi guys!
If you follow me on social media you’ll know all about the upcoming TV show on Hochanda, 2 hour dedicated to selling and demonstrating my stamps! It feels so surreal to have my own show after producing 100’s of Hochanda’s live hours over the past year and a half. Madness! Anyway, I can’t thank my Hochanda family enough for all the support, I’m sure many of you know my husband lost his job 2 weeks before our wedding last month and having the potential to make money to help with that based on my passion for creative design means the world.
Anyway! A TV show means I need lots of samples, which means I need a design team! I was absolutely flooded with applications (and even though the DT call is now closed I’m still getting people begging, but that’s okay because the team refreshes every 6 months to keep it fresh and make sure we see a variety of papercrafting and talent!
So eventually I managed to whittle them down to 13. I know, I know, it was meant to be 10 but I got carried away!
So, meet…
Laura Henderson: “Hi everyone, I’m Laura I’m 25 and live in Glasgow. I love crafting mostly scrapbooking and creative journaling these days but first started with card making . I get married in October so can’t wait to scrapbook all the photographs from our day! My cat Millie is also featured in lots of my projects. I’m so excited to be here!”
Danielle Bigland: “So, I’m a craftaholic as are we all! Ive just left a job at Hobbycraft which was a delightful experience, and nowadays you’ll find me like a pig in poo in my craft room all day. (That is if I am not refereeing my 2 boys 8 and 5) Generally, I don’t make anything. I sit looking at all the mess. I am not on any design teams so this is all a new experience for me. I am super excited to be a part of this. I’m hoping I could gain some friendships and a little family out of it also. Bonus!”
Diane Ingram: “I’m Diane, 53 and a badly behaved and noisy Library Assistant….but I work as little as possible, just enough to fund my crafting addiction. Plus I love spending time with by fabulous daughter and granddaughters Annie 3 yrs old and Ida 7 months. Weekends are mainly spent dancing (swing jive) with my wonderful hubbie, spending time with friends, eating too much and drinking the occasional bottle of red wine (its official ….its good for you!). Really looking forward to seeing what we all create and big thank you Loti for letting me share the fun.”
Aditi Mahajan: “I am Aditi from India and along with my Mother, Sunila run a home decor business by the name Dots to Lines. We craft together and we are into mixed media, scrapbooking, altered art, paper-crafting and a lot more 
! We enjoy crafting and creating together. Apart from that I am a Psychologist and provide therapy to those in need 
! Super excited and looking forward to working with you’ll and especially designing using Mama Makes products!”
Kasia Bigaj: “I am happy to start a new adventure on Mama Makes design team. I am passionate about crafting and quality of my creations. I only give 100% to all my creations and I need to be fully happy with every details for me to present the sample. I know it’s crazy but I learnt to live with it. Lol. I live in Leicester, born in Poland.”
Geraldine Carruthers: “I’m Ger, 40 & mum of the horrid teens, wife to a long suffering Hubs and slave to a Devon Rex & Vizsla. I’ve always crafted, love it all and try everything! I’m a part time classroom assistant, demonstrate for Docrafts & Trimcraft, Do mag work for Docrafts Creativity & I’m a Jamberry consultant!”
Lauren John: “I’m a reluctant 30 something from Essex, UK, auntie to my little 4 year old friend Joey, and a freelance writer by trade. I was just in Quick Cards Magazine for their sketch challenge, and have another reader thing coming up somewhere else in Oct. I have written on pop-up shops for former title Crafty, and greetings cards for Ideas Tap. Love paper craft and cardmaking, but also cross stitch, decoupage, try needle felt, all sorts. It’s my escape, relaxation, and is just fun. I love Disney, animals, reading, music and gigs, collecting postcards, writing letters to my penpals, and watching some sports on tv. Here’s my other nephew Wilson. Super excited to be on another DT and hopefully really get stuck into lots of excitement with everyone. Currently am on the Baker Ross blogger network and was also on Sarah Hurley’s for a while.”
Leila Gregory: “I’m Leila, 35 from Surrey. I’m married and have a 6 year old son and 12 year old stepson. I’ve been obsessed with stationery for as long as I can remember. I love planning and crafting. As well as paper crafts, I also like to metal stamp (www.swannyandboo.com) and crochet (www.kokucho.co.uk), although the crochet has taken a back seat in recent years due to having 3 cats and a small boy 
? Lovely to meet you all and I’m over the moon to be part of the Mama Makes design team. I’m a huge fan of her stamps and can’t wait to get even more creative with them.”
Alison Markham: “I’m Alison. I live in Telford, Shropshire. I’m the mum of Simon (30 years) and Louise (28 years). Now I’m sure you are all trying to do the maths – yes that makes me in my 50s. I work as a teaching assistant/nurture group leader in a primary school and from September I will also be part of the team at a brand new after school club. Exciting times ahead!”
Natalie Ellis: “I’m Nat, 30yrs old, lives in Peterborough and I’m a floor manager at Hochanda. I live and breathe craft and I love papercraft, stamping and mixed media. I’m currently on the design team for Crafter’s Companion and Leonie Pujol as well as the Mama Makes team now!”
Jackie Reader: “I’m Jacks, a very soon to be 53 year old and an all round crafter. Married to Steve, I have two girls Victoria 21 and Holly 16, I also have a gorgeous 1 year old grandson who keeps me on my toes. Papercrafting and jewellery making are my main crafts but I love to sew and have just started to learn bobbin lace making. Currently on a couple of other DTs and also run my own small craft business, I have a real love for anything stationery, especially boxes. My real weakness is very dark chocolate. So excited to be part of Team Mama.”
Annie Collins: “My name is Annie Collins and I love in Kissimmee, FL USA. I am 46 yrs old. I am a mom to 3 children and wife of 28 yrs to my best friend. I have been crafting since the age of 4. I love all crafts. I am on a few design teams. I am super excited to be a part of the design team.”
LeeAnn McKinney: “I am so honored to be here with everyone. My name is LeeAnn, I am 50 and live in Florida, USA. I am on a few design teams and LOVE spending my time in my craft room. Can’t wait to get to know you all. I am the mom to three 20-somethings, and my youngest is getting married August 6. I have 2 awesome grandchildren Junior will be 3 in August, and Jules will be 1 in October.”
