Thinking of You (Card Tutorial)

Today the lovely Lorre-Anne has a tutorial for us using the new Natalie’s Texture Stencils (They can be purchased here) and Natalie’s Floral Stamps (Here). Be sure to share your creations with us on social media, tag us at @MamaMakesStore.

You will ll need:

  • Natalie’s Textures stamps and stencils
  • Natalie’s Florals stamp set (daffodil)
  • White card
  • Black card
  • 7″ square white card blank
  • Onyx Black Versafine ink
  • Distress Oxides (Salty Ocean, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron)
  • Ink blender
  • Water spray
  • Black fine liner pen,
  • Glue and foam pads.

Randomly blend all 3 Oxides over the piece of card.

Take the circle texture stamp and spritz with water then stamp randomly over the card, the longer you leave the stamp in place the more defined image you will get.

Repeat the above step with the square texture stamp.

Spritz some water on to your fingers and flick over the background and then blot with a piece of paper.

Blend some Twisted Citron through the stencil over the yellow sections of the background.

Use the black pen to scribble a line around the edges of the background and then mat to a piece of black card before fixing to the card blank.  Add a stamped sentiment to the centre of the card.
